The Process

Setup & Equipment

The Honeycomb crew operated two Engraving machines with a four-person team managing production flow, stock control and guest coordination.

Style Selection

Delegates selected from four UGG boot styles:

  • Trendy Mocassin
  • Olivia Lady Scuff
  • Daisy Scuff
  • M/W Scuff

Each style was available in multiple sizes, requiring careful stock management throughout the event.

International Size Conversion

With global attendees, sizing required live US-to-AU conversions.

Our team cross-referenced detailed records to confirm correct sizing before Engraving commenced. This back-end system ensured accuracy while maintaining a seamless front-end guest experience.

Live Production

Once confirmed, each pair of shoes was engraved on-site. With two machines running simultaneously, the team produced approximately 100 personalised pairs across the activation.

As the machines worked, delegates gathered to watch their UGG boots being customised in real time. The live person personalisation added a layer of theatre, turning a premium gift into a moment people genuinely engaged with.
